The Numbers Don't Lie!!

Updated: Jun 28, 2022

Talking with business coaches, mentors and other small business owners I know that the interest in websites can be fleeting. For example, taken from Think Designs:

Unfortunately, there are no studies that point out the average time visitors spend on websites. After all, there are over a billion sites on the internet ... site owners can look up the average time visitors spend on their own site by using analytics tools. By looking at these analytics, we can determine that the average amount of time spent on a website can be anywhere between 15 and 45 seconds.

Now I knew it was a short period and was most often quoted at about 3 minutes, but to have made up your mind a website isn't worth exploring within 15 to 45 seconds seems to say a lot. I've found the analytics on my own site fascinating and I'm always curious to look at the benchmarks with comparative sites. But I have a burning desire to know - not that I'm not thrilled - why visitors to my website are sticking around for an average of 14 minutes and 4 seconds!!

Thank you for taking such an interest. It would be great if you'd leave me a comment here in the blog, via the contact page or email me at zelpher@aluna-abc.co.uk to let me know what it is you like reading, watching and listening to. Please continue to visit and whatever it is that's piquing your interest, I'll endeavour to provide more of it.

To thank you for your feedback you'll get a FREE 30-minute mini consultation!! 😃
